1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies such as browser local storage. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations we may only set cookies that are not strictly necessary with your consent, which is why the consent banner appears before any analytics is loaded.
2. Strictly necessary
These cannot be switched off because the site will not work without them. No consent is required.
- Authentication token (local storage, until sign-out or expiry) — keeps you signed in.
- Cookie consent record (local storage, 12 months) — remembers your choices so we do not ask again.
- Checkout session reference (session, until the browser closes) — links your ticket reservation to your Stripe payment.
- Stripe fraud prevention (set by Stripe on the checkout, up to 12 months) — required to take payments securely.
- Cloudflare Turnstile (set when a protected form is shown, session) — distinguishes people from bots on sign-up, free entry, contact and newsletter forms.
3. Analytics — consent required
First-party, self-hosted measurement only. We record which pages are viewed, the referring site, a coarse device type and a random session identifier so we can count visits and see where the entry journey breaks. We do not use Google Analytics, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not share this data.
- Analytics session identifier (local storage, 30 minutes of inactivity) — groups page views into one visit.
If you decline analytics, no session identifier is created and no events are sent.
4. Marketing — consent required
We currently set no marketing or advertising cookies. If that changes we will list them here and ask for consent before setting them. Your marketing choice also controls whether we email you about new competitions; you can change it in your account or by using the unsubscribe link in any email.
5. Changing your mind
You can change or withdraw consent at any time using the button below. Every decision is recorded with a timestamp and the policy version so we can evidence your choice. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though the site may not work correctly if you block strictly necessary items.
